We are fast and precise with all projects. Exposed aggregate finishes are becoming popular as beautiful and sturdy architectural paving options. The surface of exposed aggregate concrete presents the natural textures of various stones like pebble, shells, or silicate and crushed quarry stone. Exposed aggregate is a broad category of coarse particulate material used in landscape design for driveways, patios, pool decks, walkways and custom landscaping, including sand, gravel, crushed stone, slag, recycled concrete and geosynthetic aggregates.
What is exposed aggregate concrete?
In exposed-aggregate finishes, the aggregates – the stones and the sands near the surface – are revealed. These would eventually be concealed by a thin layer of cement. Our typical range of aggregate concrete is created through a process resulting in the stone being exposed which highlights the natural elements of the stone. There are a number of techniques for producing exposed aggregate finishes. Each of these techniques gives off different unique appearances.
